Originally from Houston, Texas—I moved to New York in 2008 where I started my career as a visual designer. I worked and learned from incredible folks during those years at agencies and through freelancing. When I joined Pow Interactive in 2013, my focus transitioned to user experience.
I started as a senior designer using GUI photoshop files to create application screens and eventually, shifted to helping companies establish and extend design systems. Since then—I've moved across the country, swapped a few job titles, but continue to work with financial institutions: being a trusted partner and collaborating with them to define and create human-centered experiences for users.
